inTried using a cheap USB hub versus a powered Anker one for a repair bench setup
My old hub once corrupted a whole drive, so I don't mess around with those anymore.

inThat $400 infrared thermometer was the best money I ever spent on the shop.
My old timing light found a bad plug wire on my truck in like two minutes flat.

inJust saw a local shop run the same ad for 8 months straight
Honestly I have to disagree here. Sometimes an ad that keeps working is a sign it's just really good. I ran one for almost a year because it kept bringing in steady sales without any changes. The cost per click went up a bit, but the sales it made stayed strong, so the profit was still there. Changing things every month can actually mess up what's already working. You have to look at the full picture, not just the click cost.

inHonestly just wasted $12 on weird stuff for a 'fridge surprise' dinner that turned into a weird soup
Ugh, been there. Was it at least edible?

inHonestly, I just ran my first 500-part order with zero scrap. Not a single piece. I've been running a Haas VF-2 for about 4 years now and that's never happened.
Zero scrap on 500 parts is wild lol. It's like when everything just lines up perfectly for once and you're just waiting for the other shoe to drop.
