That time a hot nail went straight through the hoof wall and I panicked

Oh man, that's the kind of thing that sticks with you for weeks. I'm still cringing just imagining that moment. But here's what I've been wondering ever since I started dealing with drafts more often - do you think the angle of the hoof wall actually changes the way the nail travels through the horn, or is it more about how the bone sits inside? Because I've had a couple of close calls on the big upright feet too, and I swear the nails just don't land the same way as on a regular quarter horse hoof. Like, is there a specific spot on those steeper hooves where you have to adjust your aim or just totally rethink your nailing pattern?

Serious question about painting techniques - do you roll or brush first?

That point about the "halo" effect is something not enough people talk about. If you cut in after rolling, you can actually feather the cut-in paint into the still-wet rolled sections to prevent that line from forming. It takes a little more coordination but the end result is way smoother with no visible transition between the brush and roller work.

Found a simple trick to hide PSU cable clutter without buying extra extensions

Noah, you saying "held up for years" reminds me of something a buddy of mine did. He had this old monitor with a cracked corner of the plastic bezel, and he literally used black electrical tape around the whole edge as a fix. I'm not kidding, that tape stayed on there for like 4 or 5 years until the monitor finally died. He never had any issues with it peeling or getting gummy either. Sometimes you just find a weird fix that works way better than it should.

The Denver airport murals made me stop laughing at 'crazy' theories

Gotta respectfully disagree here. That statue is supposed to make you uncomfortable, that's the whole point. Look at the artist's statement online, it's about how tourism and environmental decay both wear us down, it's not a hidden conspiracy thing. Sometimes a weird public art piece is just weird, not a secret town warning.

My old boss told me to always check the power strip first, and I finally saw why.

Heard a stat that 90% of PC issues are just user error lol
