Did that fancy kitchen faucet really save me money or was it a waste?
I put in a $400 touchless faucet from a big name brand about 8 months ago in my Columbus bungalow. Thought it would be great for filling pots and not getting handle germs everywhere. But the sensor started acting up after 3 months, and I had to fiddle with the control box under the sink to reset it twice already. Meanwhile, my neighbor has a basic $80 faucet that's been running strong for 5 years with zero fuss. Is the convenience of touchless worth the risk of it breaking down sooner, or should I have just stuck with a simple lever? Anyone else in Ohio had better luck with these pricier faucets, or did I just pick a lemon?

Fancy stuff always looks good on paper but starts acting up once you get used to it.

Wait, you're telling me that expensive stuff actually breaks down after you start using it regularly?
