How ignoring a noise led to a big repair bill on my dozer

I was in the habit of skipping the sound check on my dozer. Last month, I didn't hear a grinding sound and the track failed. It led to a costly repair and downtime. I changed my way and now listen for a full minute before work. This new routine found a loose pin just yesterday. Skipping little steps can lead to big headaches. Have you changed a habit after a close call?

That skip steps mentality hits everywhere. People will ignore the weird click in their car door for months until it just won't open. Same with a dripping faucet that turns into a flooded cabinet. Letting the small stuff slide always makes the eventual fix worse and more expensive. Your dozer story is just the industrial version of a daily life truth.

Remember that weird smell from my fridge last year? Turned out to be a tiny leak that killed the whole motor.

Come on, sometimes stuff just wears out anyway.
