Finished my 50th trigger job this morning and the number kind of snuck up on me.

It started as a side thing for friends, but now I'm getting calls from two counties over. Anyone else find a specific service just took off unexpectedly?

Started charging more, focused on quality.

I get the "started charging more" part, but in my area, that just pushes people to cheaper options. Dylan_green58's point about explaining the upgrade is key, but a lot of customers just see the higher number first. You really have to prove the better quality is worth it before they'll stick around.

Saw a study last year that said businesses raising prices by 15% often see better customer loyalty if they clearly explain the quality upgrade. Honestly, it makes total sense because people hate feeling ripped off without a reason. Tbh, when you just charge more for the same old stuff, it feels greedy. But if you're actually putting that money into better materials or service, most folks get it. Ngl, it's a risky move at first, but sticking with it filters out the bargain hunters and builds a real following.
