TIL the gas station on Elm Street has a time skip in the parking lot

I was filling up my car there last Tuesday around 3 PM. I put the pump in, turned to check my phone, and when I looked back the pump read 12 gallons already. I know for a fact I only put in 5. My receipt and bank charge confirmed the 12 gallons, but my gas gauge only went up like I got 5. I haven't gone back since. Has anyone else had a weird jump in time or amount at a specific place?

Maybe the pump just glitched. Those digital readouts can mess up sometimes. Hall.ruby has a point about the charge being wrong, but it’s probably just a faulty machine, not some time skip. You should call the station and get your money back for those extra gallons. Stuff like that happens more than people think.

Wait your bank actually charged you for 12 gallons? That's wild, they straight up stole from you. Did you try calling the station about it?
