My car keys were in the fridge for two days straight

Last Thursday in Phoenix, I was late for work because I couldn't find my keys anywhere. I tore the house apart, even checked the freezer. My roommate Jake finally found them chilling next to the milk carton, and I know for a fact I never put them there. Has anyone else had something vanish and show up in a totally impossible spot?

Maybe your brain was on autopilot while putting groceries away. It's weird how muscle memory can take over for a totally different task. The fridge just became a key bowl for a minute.
