TIL a trick for a tricky tempered glass door install in a tight hallway

I was putting in a 36-inch tempered glass shower door on the second floor of a house in Portland, and the hallway was so narrow we had to tilt the panel almost vertical to get it around the corner. My helper lost his grip for a second and the bottom corner tapped the door frame, putting a tiny chip in the edge. We stopped, cleaned it up with a diamond file to smooth it, and decided to install it with the chipped corner at the top hinge side where it's less visible. What's your go-to fix for a small edge chip when you can't get a replacement piece right away?

That diamond file trick is a solid save for a tight spot. Hiding it at the top hinge was smart thinking under pressure. A little epoxy resin can also work to fill and seal it if you need a bit more strength.
