Pro tip: My big scratch on a storefront job taught me a lesson!

Use fresh blades for clean cuts every time!

Clean cuts every time" seems like a pretty big promise. Is a fresh blade really the only thing that matters? I've seen people with new blades still mess up a cut if their technique is off or the material is tricky. That scratch could have come from a dozen different small mistakes.

Grant_palmer nailed it with the "clean cuts every time" thing. A fresh blade is just one piece of the puzzle. If your technique is bad or you're not paying attention, you'll still get scratches and messed up cuts. It's about the whole process, not just the tool. Stop blaming the blade and look at how you're using it.

Sure a new blade fixes everything? A fresh blade is just the start. Bad technique or a shaky hand will still wreck your cut on tricky material. That scratch was probably a combo of a dull blade and rushing the job. You need the right tool plus focus on how you use it. Cutting corners on either one gets expensive fast.
