Just realized those magnetic parts trays are a total game changer for keeping bolts organized during a carb rebuild.
I was super skeptical they'd hold anything heavy, but after my buddy in Phoenix swore by his and I tried one during a full teardown last weekend, I didn't lose a single washer and it saved me at least an hour of searching the bench.

Oh man, those trays are lifesavers. The only thing I'd add is they can get a little messy if you pile too many small parts in one spot. I learned the hard way to keep different sizes separate, because a tiny jet can hide under a big bolt. Still way better than everything rolling into a pile on the bench.

My buddy Dave lost a carburetor needle for two days because it slid under a washer in his tray. He was turning his garage upside down looking for it.

My cousin spent an hour looking for a valve spring retainer. It was stuck to the magnet on his screwdriver the whole time, sitting right in the tray.
