Rant: My new 'smart' scale gave me a body fat reading that was way off

I got one of those Bluetooth scales that syncs with your phone, the 'FitTrack Pro'. After using it for a week, it said my body fat was 8%, which is basically athlete level. I mean, I'm in okay shape, but idk, that seemed crazy low. I went to my doctor's office for a checkup and they used their professional machine, which put me at a more realistic 18%. I learned that these cheap home gadgets can be super inaccurate with specific metrics. Has anyone found a home scale that actually gives reliable body composition numbers?

My buddy had the same thing happen. His scale said he was shredded, doctor's machine told the real story.

Yeah, I used to trust those until @noahcampbell's story.
