My friend insisted I needed a screen protector for my new e-reader, and I'm glad I listened

He told me the matte finish on the Paperwhite screen can still get micro-scratches from dust in a bag. After six months of tossing it in my backpack, the protector is scuffed but the screen underneath is still perfect. Anyone have a brand they prefer for that anti-glare feel?

Honestly the resale value thing is huge. A mint screen means you can sell it for way more when you upgrade. I just use the cheap matte ones from Amazon, the no-name packs. They feel close enough to the original and you can swap them when they get too scratched. It's like a $2 insurance plan.

Totally get your point about resale value, @miles_grant35. I just can't stand how those cheap protectors feel, like my finger is dragging through mud. I'd rather risk a few tiny scratches for a screen that actually feels nice to touch.

But have you tried the nicer glass ones? They feel basically like the real screen. I get what @miles_grant35 is saying about resale, but a good protector keeps it mint without that gross rubbery feel. It's not just cheap or nothing.
