Wasted $60 on a fake night vision camera off eBay for ghost hunting

The footage looked like green static the whole time and the seller ghosted me after I complained. Anyone else get scammed by those cheap 'military grade' IR cameras?

Learned the hard way that real night vision gear costs way more than that" - yeah I learned the hard way that my wallet and common sense don't hang out together. $60 for military grade anything is just me paying a scammer to teach me a lesson I already knew.

I had the same thing happen with a supposed "military" thermal camera, learned the hard way that real night vision gear costs way more than that. What actually worked for me was sticking with known brands and checking forums like this before buying anything. Saved my money and got a decent used unit from a legit seller on a different site.
