I used to wire every single stem for my bridal bouquets by hand
For years, I'd spend an hour just wiring roses one by one before even starting the design. Then at a workshop in Austin last spring, the instructor showed us how to tape small groups together first. I tried it on a bouquet for a June wedding, grouping three stems at a time. It cut my prep time in half and the structure felt way more secure. Has anyone else switched to a grouping method for hand-tied work?

My cousin's wedding in Galveston had a florist who did that grouping trick. The whole bouquet looked so much fuller and it didn't droop at all during the outdoor ceremony. I was honestly shocked by the difference it made.

Galveston humidity alone should have turned those flowers to mush by noon. I saw a wedding there last summer where the bouquets looked sad before the vows even started. That grouping trick must be some kind of florist magic. I would have paid double just to see how they pulled that off.
