I saw a big change in how people talk about money online over the past few years

Three years ago, the main finance forum I read was full of posts about picking single stocks and trying to time the market. Last month, I checked the same place and the top posts were all about index funds and long term plans. Just last week, a user posted a detailed breakdown of their 401k choices, asking for help on which low cost fund to pick. It felt like the whole vibe shifted from trying to get rich quick to building things slowly. Has anyone else seen their go-to forum change its main focus like that?
