inGot burned buying a used oscilloscope off eBay - lost $200
Did you try contacting the seller directly too, @shane_ross? They refunded me after I sent photos of the messed up calibration sticker, took a few days but it worked out.

inSpent $300 on a new glass handling tool and it might have saved my hands
and honestly craig.parker is right on the money here. i mean idk about you but i've never seen a suction cup that didn't start sweating after 20 minutes in the sun. that's just physics man. the fact you had to catch it says more about the setup than the tool. maybe try working with a partner next time or at least strap a safety line to the glass if you're gonna tackle stuff that big alone.

inI used to think taking things from abandoned spots was okay, but a photo from an old school in Detroit changed my mind.
@sage_perry I get what you're saying about things falling apart, but I think taking a few small items isn't the same as letting a roof leak for years. That school in Detroit had busted windows and peeling paint long before anyone grabbed a bottle. The real damage comes from neglect, not from someone keeping a piece of rusty metal. I still take a little something sometimes if it's already broken off and lying on the ground, just a tiny memory of the place.

inHeard a client call TikTok ads a 'waste' because their first video got 200 views
The trick is getting them to commit to a minimum budget before they even start... I always tell new clients they need at least $200 spread over a week just to see what sticks. One video with 200 views is like dropping one line in a lake and saying there's no fish. You gotta test three or four different hooks, maybe a trending sound, and see which one the algorithm actually pushes out. Had a lady once give up after two days and I had to show her the analytics from her own page where a video she hated ended up doing 10x better than the one she liked. Patience is the real secret sauce here, not the creative.
