My buddy's new apartment building has a package room with cameras, my old one just left stuff in the lobby.

We both live in Phoenix and get a lot of deliveries. At his place, they put everything in a locked room and you get a code, plus there's a camera pointed at the door. At my old building, they'd just drop boxes by the mailboxes in the open lobby. I had a $60 pair of work gloves swiped once. His system feels way more secure and respectful of people's stuff. It's a small change but it shows they actually thought about the problem. Do you think a building has a duty to provide secure delivery spots, or is that on the resident?

That camera alone probably cuts theft by half.

Seems like a lot of fuss over some gloves.
