Rant: I saw a spa in Austin using a warm towel steamer for their facial towels and it was a total game changer for client comfort.

They had this little countertop unit from a brand called Pure Spa Direct, and the esthetician said it heats the towels to exactly 110 degrees in about 90 seconds, which is way more consistent than a crockpot.

Honestly, is that temp actually comfortable for everyone? I find anything over 100 feels way too hot on my face.

Honestly @riverp37, a buddy of mine bought one of those fancy dryers hyped up online and it burned his ear on the second use. He didn't even have it on full blast, just the "low" setting with the concentrator nozzle. Said his whole face felt like he got sunburnt in 5 seconds flat. He ended up returning it and went back to his old drugstore Conair that barely gets warm. That thing was like a gentle breeze, nowhere near 100 degrees probably. So yeah, you're not alone, dryers getting that hot just seems pointless to me.

Seriously though, what do you even set your dryer to? Mine has like three heat settings and they all feel like a volcano after a minute. Is there a secret cool shot button I'm missing?
