Saw a GFCI get skipped to beat a deadline. Where do you stand?
Watched it happen on a job. Do you call it out for safety or keep quiet to avoid trouble?

Rushed a client's logo once and it looked fine initially, @the_amy, but needed a total rebrand later.

This isn't just about GFCI outlets, it's a whole thing with rushing jobs. Seen it in other fields too (like tech with skipping bug fixes) to hit a launch date. Calling it out is tough, but safety has to come first, full stop.

Remember that house painting job next door? They skipped the primer to finish faster. Two months later, all that expensive paint started peeling in sheets. Makes you wonder what else they rushed through that you can't see right away.

Seriously? Rushing happens everywhere but most times nothing bad comes of it. Sean's neighbor got bad paint, not a house fire. Tech ships buggy updates all the time and the world keeps spinning. I'm not saying ignore real danger, but acting like every cut corner is a life or death thing feels like a stretch.
