Went to that Habitat for Humanity ReStore on 99 St last weekend

I swear half the stuff in there was the exact same laminate flooring I put in my first condo back in 2008, just sitting there for $8 a box. Did all the old peoples' renovations just get dumped there over the years or what?

Hold on now, that flooring might be from the 2000s but it's still perfectly good stuff for a basement or a rental. People dump perfectly usable materials because they want the newest trend, not because the old stuff is bad. I actually grabbed some of those boxes a few months back for my garage and it went down just fine with zero issues. That ReStore is a goldmine if you're willing to look past the idea that everything has to be brand new from the big box store.

Nah fr though, it's all old people Reno leftovers. Still a steal for $8 though.
