My neighbor's "5 minute" toilet fix took him 6 hours and three trips to Home Depot last month lol. I feel your pain, my tap adventure started because I thought I could just swap a washer and ended up having to take apart half the plumbing under the sink. Lost a bolt in the abyss behind the garbage disposal and had to fish it out with a wire hanger. Seriously though, pretty sure my kitchen sink has more hours logged as a construction project than as an actual sink lately.

Honestly though, is it really that serious? A wire hanger and some lost bolts sounds like a Tuesday to me. Are we sure you didn't just want an excuse to take apart the whole sink?
