My $200 tile cutter was a total waste of money

I spent $200 on a fancy wet tile saw for my bathroom project, and a $30 snap cutter I borrowed from a neighbor actually did a better job on porcelain tiles. The wet saw left chipped edges no matter how slow I went. Anyone else think these expensive saws are overrated for small DIY jobs?

Man, that's exactly what I've been saying for years. Those cheap snap cutters are way better for porcelain than most people give them credit for, especially when you're just doing a backsplash or a small floor. The wet saw hype is mostly for guys who do this every day and need to cut tons of specialty shapes.
