Overheard a kid at Micro Center say RGB fans make your PC run faster
I was grabbing some thermal paste and this teenager was dead serious telling his friend that more LEDs equal more FPS, and it got me wondering how many people actually think case mods serve a performance purpose instead of just looking cool - has anyone here ever had to explain the difference to a newbie?

Man that's rough... did you overhear if the kid actually knew what RGB stands for or was he just repeating what he saw in a YouTube video?

Right? I can barely remember what I had for breakfast, let alone what RGB actually means half the time. Maybe it's just me but I'm still not 100% sure I'm using it right.
