Switched to Mod Organizer 2 after 3 years of NMM and it fixed my Skyrim crashes

My buddy Dave kept telling me Nexus Mod Manager was garbage for big mod lists. I ignored him for like 2 years and just accepted constant CTDs every 20 minutes. Finally last month I watched a 10 minute tutorial and swapped to Mod Organizer 2. Turned out the issue was NMM was overwriting files in the wrong order for my 150+ mod loadout. Now I can play for 4 hours straight without a single crash. Has anyone else made this switch and seen a huge difference in stability?

Yeah, but did you also delete the INI files? That was the real game changer for me.

Oh come on, deleting INI files is like step 1 troubleshooting for any Bethesda game. I really doubt that alone was the "real game changer" when NMM was literally writing over your mod files wrong. I've seen people delete their INIs and still get crashes because their load order was jacked up. The INI reset might help some weird settings but it won't fix the core issue of file overwriting conflicts. Are you sure it wasn't just placebo?
