I thought a $15 paint sprayer from Harbor Freight was a total waste of money

My buddy convinced me to try one on a fence project last month, saying it would cut the time in half. I mean, it did spray paint, but it also coated my neighbor's car in a fine mist of 'Forest Green' from about 30 feet away. Has anyone else had a tool that worked a little too well for its own good?

Honestly that sounds like a technique issue lol. Those cheap sprayers can actually work great with some practice.

Wait, you painted your neighbor's car from 30 feet away? Tbh @wendy674 might be right about technique, but that's still a wild amount of overspray.
