Watching a local coffee shop in Denver pivot their entire social media after a failed giveaway

They ran a 'tag three friends' contest for a free bag of beans and got almost zero engagement, but when they switched to just posting a short video of their head roaster explaining a light roast's flavor notes, their views tripled in a week, which really shows that giving actual value beats begging for interaction, right?

Wasn't there a bakery in my friend's town that did the same thing? They kept doing polls about new cupcake flavors and got nothing, then she just filmed the baker doing a quick icing swirl tutorial on a Tuesday. Her phone blew up with saves and shares because people actually wanted to learn that trick. It totally proves that just being useful is the best marketing.

Exactly! My buddy's bike shop tried that. They posted a 30 second clip on fixing a flat tire, way more hits than any sale ad. @margaret_bennett3 is right, just showing how to do something useful always wins. People want help, not just another poll.
