Appreciation post: That gallery show in Chicago that made me ditch my whole color palette

I saw a digital piece there that used only three colors, and it had more impact than my whole portfolio. Now I start every new piece with a strict three-color limit before adding anything else. Has anyone else had a single piece of art completely change your process?

I get what you mean about it being a good start, but I actually love a well-done filter! A clean black and white look is amazing, sure. But a nice filter can add a mood or fix bad lighting in a snap. It's just another tool, not always a bad thing. Sometimes a photo just needs a little help to look its best.
