PSA: that 'pre-routed' cable management channel on my Lian Li case was a trap
Built in a 011 Dynamic last month and the rubber grommets popped out while I was threading cables. It took me 3 tries to get them seated right without pinching a fan wire. Has anyone else had these grommets just refuse to stay in place?

Fiona_scott44, I had that exact same bird noise issue with my build. The trick that finally worked for me was taking the rubber grommets out completely and running the cables first, then popping the grommets in after everything was threaded. I also used a plastic spudger from an old phone repair kit to push the grommet edges in without pinching anything. It took maybe five extra minutes but saved me from having to reroute three cables that got caught under the rubber. That little spudger made all the difference for getting the grommets seated flush.

Has anyone else spent a good twenty minutes wrestling with those grommets only to realize you’ve just been fighting your own cable management all along? I ended up with one fan wire pinched so bad it sounded like a tiny bird was stuck in the case. My advice is to take a break and come back to it fresh or you’ll just make the same mistakes I did.
