I ran a free password strength checker on my old email account and it flagged a password I thought was strong.

My old "strong" password was just my cat's name and the year I graduated. So, bulletproof.

Laughing at that because my old password was my dog's name and the street I grew up on. Real creative stuff. Thought I was so clever until I got hacked playing some random Minecraft server. Now I just use a password manager and let it make all the hard choices for me. Did you end up changing yours after that or just kept using the same cat name?

My "strong" password for years was just the word "password" with a 1 at the end. I felt like a genius.
