The 'controlled demolition' video from 2001 that got pulled from YouTube still haunts my research
I was up at 2AM last Tuesday digging through archived forums for alternative angles on 9/11 and found a link to a video that showed a clear sequence of pulses before each tower fell. The video got taken down just 8 hours after I watched it, claimed it violated 'harmful content' rules. Has anyone here managed to save a copy of that specific footage or know who originally uploaded it?

Oh come on. Not this again. That video was almost definitely just someone's CGI project or a stock clip of a controlled demo for a construction safety video. YouTube's rules are a mess but they don't have some secret 9/11 conspiracy squad.
Look, I've seen like five different "pulse" videos over the years. They all show the same blurry stuff that could be anything. Dust clouds shifting. Camera shakes. Camera guy breathing heavy. Your brain fills in the blanks.
If that footage was real proof of something, it wouldn't be on YouTube for random people to find at 2AM. Real evidence ends up in courtrooms or academic papers, not some deleted YouTube link.
Save yourself the headache. The official reports are boring but they've been checked by actual engineers. Not random forum guys.

A friend of mine from the old engineering forum I used to visit got deep into this stuff back around 2015. He spent three weeks tracking down one of those pulse videos someone had reuploaded to a sketchy file hosting site. Downloaded it, ran it through a bunch of editing software frame by frame, even had a buddy who works with demolition timers look at it. Turned out the "pulses" matched perfectly with the shadow of a helicopter passing behind a smoke cloud in the background, caught on a low frame rate camera. He was pretty embarrassed about it, stopped posting on those forums after that.
