My uncle swore chemtrails were fake until he saw the sky over Bakersfield on a Tuesday
My uncle laughed at me for 5 years every time I brought up chemtrails, then last month we were sitting in his truck outside a gas station in Bakersfield and he pointed up at a criss cross pattern with no wind and just went quiet for like a full minute. He finally said 'ok that's weird' and now he texts me photos every single morning, so I'm wondering if anyone else has converted a stubborn family member with one lucky moment.

Dude yes, I heard a podcast about this like a year ago where they talked about how people never change their mind from arguments, it's always some weird personal moment that flips them. There was this story about a guy who thought contrails were normal until he watched a plane do a U turn in the sky and then double back over the same line. The podcast host said it's because seeing it yourself hits different than someone telling you about it. Your uncle texting you pics every morning is hilarious though, sounds like he swung way past you into full obsession mode.
