Dropped $300 on a 'water powered' generator kit from a Facebook ad, and I still feel dumb
Saw an ad for a little box that supposedly turned tap water into free power for your house, and the guy in the video had a white lab coat so I figured why not. Paid $300 with shipping, waited 3 weeks, and the box was just a fish tank pump glued to a fake motor with a USB port. I hooked it up like the instructions said, nothing happened, and when I emailed them the address bounced back the next day. Lesson learned, but now I want to know if anyone on here has actually seen one of these water power things work, or is the whole idea just junk science?

Guess the lab coat really sold it, huh? Next time make sure the guy at least has a clipboard too.
