Spent 4 hours trying to sync my Switch Pro controller to my PC
Thought it would be plug and play but nope. Turns out the Bluetooth on my laptop just hates Nintendo stuff for some reason. After digging through like 20 forum posts I found out I needed to hold the sync button for like 15 seconds instead of 5. Has anyone else run into weird pairing issues with cross-platform controllers?

Did you update the firmware on the controller first? That fixed it for me.

Tbh, that firmware update was the magic fix for me too. I was fiddling with the settings for like an hour, thinking I broke something, and then I did the update and it just started working perfectly. I even had to re-pair the controller after, but that took two seconds. It’s wild how often the problem is just the software being outdated, not the hardware. Good call bringing that up.
