Tried a stamped overlay on a driveway near Denver and it beat broom finish by a mile

Honestly I was never sold on stamped overlays for driveways, figured they'd crack or look fake after a season. But last month we did a job in Lakewood with a 1,200 square foot driveway using a concrete stamp from Butterfield Color and the texture held up way better than the regular broom finish I usually push. The owner even said it hides salt stains from winter way better too. Has anyone else switched to overlays for residential or is it just a niche thing?

Wait, is Butterfield Color secretly a stamp brand now or did you just use their release agent on someone else's mats and call it a day? I feel like that's the real question here. Because I've seen guys slap a stamp from Home Depot on a driveway and blame the color company when it looks like garbage. But hey, if it held up in Lakewood winter salt then I'm all ears (or eyes, I guess, since we're typing). Just maybe check the actual stamp mold brand before you start naming names.

Wait is Butterfield Color actually a stamp brand? I always thought they were a release agent and color company, not the actual stamp mats. Maybe it's just me but I feel like you'd want to mention who made the stamp tool instead.
