My brother-in-law from Phoenix said all his crews use magnesium floats exclusively now.

He argued they give a harder, tighter finish than aluminum, especially in hot weather. I've always stuck with my old aluminum ones for 15 years. Made me wonder if I'm missing out on better results. What's your crew's go-to float for a standard slab?
