Last Thursday's pour had me second-guessing everything about weather calls.
Honestly, my foreman told me to go ahead with a slab pour even though it was drizzling. Tbh, I knew it could lead to cracking later, but he said the schedule was too tight. I went along with it, but now I'm hearing whispers about surface issues. How do you all handle pressure from above when you know it's not best practice?

Man, my track record with rain and concrete is so bad I should just start selling umbrellas. Tried to set some fence posts in a mist once and ended up with a lean that would make the Tower of Pisa jealous. The boss's schedule is one thing, but waiting for that call from the client about the mess is pure torture. You just gotta hope the next sunny day makes everyone forget your last wet pour disaster.

That "waiting for the call" feeling is the worst, I once had a patio wash away like a sandcastle.
