Appreciation post: hit 100 yards of flatwork this year already
That's a first for me by April, mostly thanks to a mild winter in Kansas City. Anyone else seeing their numbers up from last year?

Mild winters are nice, but calling that a crazy amount of work is where I disagree. It's just consistent effort, not some insane feat. A little bit most days adds up fast without feeling like a grind. I hit similar numbers just by not letting a week go by without getting something done.

Mild winters are nice, but honestly that sounds like a crazy amount of work.

Wait, what? You said mild winters are nice but it's "crazy" work? Did you just skim past the part where she's splitting wood by hand? That's not mild anything. That's straight up survival mode. I'd take a snow plow over swinging an axe any day. Mild winters are nice for like one weekend. That setup sounds like every weekend.
