Just got stuck behind a bread truck that killed our whole deployment timeline

Was out at a client site in Phoenix last week running fiber for a new office buildout. We had a 3 hour window to get 48 drops run and terminated before the drywall crew showed up. Everything was going smooth until a bread truck parked directly in front of the main comms room loading dock and the driver disappeared for 45 minutes. Couldn't get the spools or lift past it. Ended up having to reroute 12 of the runs through the ceiling plenum which added almost an hour. Has anyone else had a delivery truck completely wreck a structured cabling schedule like this?

Bread trucks are the silent assassins of structured cabling. They show up, drop the ramp, and time just stops. Had a similar thing happen with a soda delivery truck blocking our MDF door for almost an hour. The driver was just sitting in the cab on his phone the whole time too. Made me miss the days when you could just walk around the truck and get on with life.

Oh man, I had a milk truck do the exact same thing to our server room door once, driver just vanished for twenty minutes.
