I was wrong about those digital-only comics

Always thought buying a digital comic was a waste since you don't get anything physical to hold. But I grabbed a $3 Humble Bundle last month with like 40 issues and read them all on my lunch breaks. Has anyone else switched over after swearing they'd never do digital?

My buddy Dave said the same thing until he finished a whole series during his commute.

Happened to me with an audiobook series last winter. I was skeptical at first about listening during my daily dog walks. Then one Saturday I accidentally finished three hours of it because I just kept pacing around the block. That series ended up being the only thing that got me through February. Now I can't drive anywhere without having a podcast or book queued up. It's crazy how fast the time goes when you're actually into it.

That part about pacing around the block really got me. I heard somewhere that listening to stories while moving around actually helps you focus better. I did the same thing with a podcast series about old sailing ships a few months back. Ended up walking way more than I needed to just to finish one more episode. It's funny how things you thought would never work for you end up being your favorites.
