Swapped to a chip auger after 11 years of shoveling swarf
Used to just scoop out the bin every couple hours on my old Haas, figured that was normal until a guy from the shop next door in Dayton showed me his auger setup and I timed the difference, now I spend that time setting up the next part instead of doing janitor work. Anyone else run without one because of floor space or just never tried it?

Dayton shops love their augers but my floor space is holding a pallet rack.
