Serious question, has anyone else had a problem with the new flexible rods from that company in Denver?

I bought a set of their 8-foot rods for $180 last month thinking they'd be great for tricky offsets. The fiberglass core snapped clean through on the third job, sending my brush down a flue in a house over in Cedar Rapids. Had to explain to the homeowner why I needed to come back with a camera and a whole different setup. What do you guys use for tight bends that actually holds up?

Their warranty process took three weeks for my last return.

So you paid $180 for a single-use brush launcher? Sounds about right for them. @nora10's three week wait for a warranty is faster than their rods last. I've just gone back to using two shorter steel rods with a coupling for anything tighter than a gentle curve.

Have to disagree on the brush launcher being single-use. Mine's been through a dozen jobs now, including some pretty tight soffit vents, and it's still clicking together fine. Their rods might not be for heavy abuse, but for residential fiber runs they've saved me hours of fishing time. The cost stings at first, but it pays off when you're not crawling through another hot attic.
