Had to pick between running a drop through a stuffed attic or drilling through a brick wall from the outside yesterday

I chose the attic, got swarmed by wasps, and now I'm wondering if anyone else has a go-to rule for deciding which nightmare is actually worse.

Oh man, that's brutal. I guess my go-to rule is whatever feels faster until reality hits, which for me is usually the wasps too.

Wasp spray is actually way better for this. They sell cans with a stream that shoots like 20 feet, and you can stand way back and just soak the nest without getting close. Last time I had a paper wasp nest under my eaves, I hit it at dusk and they all dropped before they even knew what happened. Just make sure you get the kind that foams up, it traps them in place so they can't fly at you.
