Pro tip: I finally switched from a standard 1/4-inch roundover bit to a variable radius bit for drawer fronts.

For years, I just used the same bit on every job, but the edges always felt a bit sharp. I picked up a Whiteside variable bit about six months ago after seeing one used in a shop in Portland. Now I can dial in a softer, more comfortable profile that just feels better in the hand. Anyone else have a favorite bit for softening up drawer pulls?

Wait, do you mean a variable radius bit or a variable profile bit? Those are different things.

Years of sharp drawer edges and you never thought to try a different bit? My guy, that's like using a butter knife to cut steak and complaining it's tough. The variable radius bit is a game changer, obviously. I'm surprised you didn't wear gloves to open your own drawers before this.
