Hit 500 pounds of pork shoulder last weekend and my band saw blade finally gave out
Was trimming and portioning for a big catering order, and that 500-pound mark on the blade was the exact moment it started smoking, what number have you guys noticed your equipment taps out at?

Man that's rough. 500 pounds is a solid run for a blade though, sorry it gave out on you mid-job.

500 pounds on a single blade? That's insane, I've never seen one last past maybe 350 on pork. Was it a bimetal or carbon steel blade?
