Hit 20,000 pounds processed yesterday and it snuck up on me

I don't keep close track. Just show up and cut. Boss told me at the end of the day I crossed 20k for the year so far. That's a lot of cows and pigs. Makes me think about 15 years ago when I was lucky to do 200 pounds in a week at my first shop. Anyone else ever get surprised by a number like that?

20k is pounds of meat, not animals, right? Just double checking.

@tessa_roberts1 nah, 20k is definitely the total count of animals... a single cow yields way more than 20 pounds of meat. I've seen guys haul trailers full of game and that number adds up fast. It's a solid number for a big hunting trip or a decent sized ranch culling.
