That time I forgot my bullet journal at a coffee shop and had a meltdown

So I was at a Starbucks in downtown Nashville last week, getting my usual iced latte, and I left my bullet journal on the counter. I didn't notice until I was halfway home, and I swear I felt actual panic for like 20 minutes. Now I write everything on my phone's notes app as a backup, but it's just not the same. Has anyone else had a close call like that with their journal?

... and that's when I swore off any journal that doesn't come with a GPS tracker attached...

Man, same here. I had a journal get completely soaked in a rainstorm on a hiking trip... the ink bled into this giant purple blob on every single page. Couldn't read a thing. Tried drying it out by the campfire and ended up melting the cover and singeing half the entries. Now I keep a cheap little waterproof notepad in my bag, but honestly I still get paranoid any time I pack one near water. Lost so many good trip notes that way.
