Vent: Had to pick between fixing my car AC or a new fridge
My fridge died and my car's AC went out the same week in July. I had $800 saved for home stuff. I chose to fix the fridge for $650 because food would spoil fast. I've been driving with the windows down for a month now, which is rough in this heat. Has anyone else had to pick between two big fixes with a tight budget?

My old Corolla had no AC for five Phoenix summers, @mason361. You learn real fast what you can actually live without.
