Warning: I was booking flights at the wrong time for years
I always thought the best deals popped up on Tuesday mornings, so I'd set my alarm for 5 AM to check. Last month, I was looking at a trip to Mexico City and found a decent price on a Tuesday, but I got busy and forgot to book it. I checked again on a Thursday night around 9 PM on a whim, and the exact same flight was $87 cheaper. I've tested this a few times since on different routes, and late weeknights seem to consistently beat my old Tuesday morning routine. It makes me think the old advice about specific days is just outdated now. The airlines must adjust prices based on real-time demand in a way we don't see. Has anyone else found a specific time of day that works better for them lately?

Wait, you found deals late at night? That's wild! I've had the same thing happen to me, but on Sunday evenings. I swear the prices just drop when most people are done planning their week. The whole Tuesday thing feels like an old myth now. It's all about catching the system when it's quiet.

It's like how traffic is lightest at weird hours too. You can fly through the grocery store at 10pm on a Tuesday when everyone else is home. Same with finding a quiet spot at the park right before sunset on a weekday. The best stuff happens when the crowd isn't looking. Feels like a secret hack for life sometimes lol.
