I thought those overnight bus rides across Europe were a scam to save a few bucks

Took one from Berlin to Prague for 25 euros and was ready for a terrible night. Actually slept okay, saved on a hostel bed, and woke up right in the city center ready to go. Anyone else have a cheap travel trick they doubted but actually worked?

Seriously? I was convinced I'd be a zombie. Did the same thing to Vienna once. My back still hasn't forgiven me, but my wallet did.
