Can we talk about painting one accent wall vs all of them?
I tried the half-painted wall look in my living room off Route 9 near Albany, and honestly it pulled the room together for about 40 bucks in leftover paint. But my buddy says it just looks like I ran out of time, and he's got a point when you see the line up close. Is committing to a full room worth the extra 60 dollars in supplies, or does the contrast actually make the house feel bigger? What do you all do when you're torn between a feature wall and going all in?

Man, half-painted walls are a gamble for sure! Did you do a crisp line with tape or did you freehand it, because that makes all the difference in whether it reads as intentional or just lazy? I lean toward the full room if the paint color is bold, but if it’s a neutral, the accent wall can trick the eye into seeing more depth without the extra cost.
